🔧 Efficient and Ergonomic: OXO Good Grips 4-Piece Nylon Tool Set Review

As much as I love OXO products, unfortunately this set of nylon kitchen utensils was useless. When scratched, the edges become increasingly rough. Do not use them in the dishwasher as the edges will melt. My tips are now rough, cracked and fall off after 2-3 uses. Disappointing.

I like the sharp edge of the spatula and the fact that it's a bit big. The spoons are a bit smaller and deeper than they appear (next to the large spatula). They have all held up well all year round, from stove to dishwasher and back again. The only thing that disappointed me is that the pasta babbler doesn't have a hole that doubles as a serving measure for spaghetti. I found it quite versatile but I can also use my eyeball. (Ouch.)

I've kept my first cookware since 2006 because I never found another one I liked. Every year I bought a new set and every year my old set was kept and the new one donated. I finally bought them this year. I like the weight and size. The handles are a bit wide which makes them a bit narrow for stowing in my essentials, but otherwise they're great. I originally only needed two spoons, but I bought the whole set for just a few dollars more. The spoons are the perfect size, light and strong. The spaghetti spoon is way better than our 20+ year old, it expands and collects more pasta in a spoon and seems to release them better. I find they can almost be used on a patio grill. The handles are thick and comfortable to grip, but the tools are too long for me to be comfortable. Too bad I didn't check the size before ordering it. Unfortunately, it was too late to return it because I had thrown away the packaging. I also ordered a kitchen fork to go with the set. All five pieces of cutlery are tightly crammed into my cutlery rack with little room for anything else. I intend to see if I can find someone who needs or needs…
