Removing the broken impeller was a hassle because 1) the front belt shaft has left hand threads (thanks to a U-Tube video I've included since No Instructions to details). 2) will need to be disassembled to access the rear of the motor shaft to keep it stationary whilst unbolting the front belt shaft to remove the old impeller. I have owned 3 Kirby vacuums in my life. The second was just a swap of the first so I could get their latest and greatest model. As great and well made as these machines are, their weakest point is that impeller fan. With each of the three vacuum cleaners, this part broke at least once. I paid a mechanic to replace the first one probably 30 years ago and it cost $125! So thanks to Revain for that part, because nobody knows how much it's going to cost to fix it in these days when absurd price spikes seem to be the norm. Of the many sellers selling this part, this seller had the best price at the time and saved me about $10 on this purchase, and the part came earlier than originally planned, so thanks for your dedicated work!
