I bought this blade to replace a badly worn diamond masonry blade on my battery powered angle grinder. I used it to cut rebar. To be honest the old blade cut faster. This thing cut very slowly and slipped and slipped a lot. I'm upset I bought 3 of these because they looked so good. After the first piece I switched to a portable hacksaw and cut the remaining pieces about 5 times faster. I'm surprised at the discrepancies in the ratings. If this thing has trouble cutting the back of mild steel, I can't imagine it cutting anything else very well. Even a fairly worn blade designed for masonry will cut about twice as fast. I think I'll try this on masonry, I think, maybe it actually works.
