Bought the 2TB version during the Black Friday sale for $429 which is a STEAL considering it was $800 a few months ago (now $629 $) has cost. I'll start with what I'm going to say. that this SSD is INCREDIBLY FAST. I'm using it with a 2016 15" MacBook Pro. On the Black Magic Disk speed test, I get 833MB/s writing and 880MB/s reading. I have a 45GB Final Cut Pro library file from the internal SSD transferred my MBP to it., and it took 52 seconds.Counting backwards...45GB/52 seconds equals 0.865(GB/s), which makes sense since it's 865(MB/s), which is even faster than that 833 (MB/s) write speed I got in Black Magic Hard drive speed test It's just crazy This drive transfers 86.5% of 1GB every second Only $429 for 2TB of it was a steal It's absolutely worth the usual $629.
