Review on 💯 Superior Quality Monoprice USB-C to USB 3.0 A X3 + USB 3.0 A(BC1.2) Consul Series: Aluminum Alloy, Nickel Plated Connector by Briceston Criss

I bought this to connect a school Chromebook to an old monitor I had lying around. Luckily, this pairing works great and we haven't had any issues. I tried using this with my new M1 MacBook Air on a newer monitor I had and the results were very mixed. Sometimes they connect well and the picture is exactly as expected. Most of the time, however, the colors almost invert and turn magenta, and there's nothing I can do to disconnect and reconnect and hope the pairing works. It's not really enough, which is why I stopped using it with the M1 MBA. It seems to work well with children's Chromebooks, so it was great for that purpose, but I can't rely on this device for my needs. Damn.
