The replacement strap comes with the tools needed to loosen the pins that secure the strap to the watch. Care must be taken to ensure that the small screwdrivers are fully inserted into the screw heads and are straight so as not to damage the screw heads. It would also be nice if there was more detailed information on removing and reinstalling the pins. For example, both original pens and replacement pens have a thread lock. Removing the old pins requires more force than you might expect and a distinctive "click" will be heard as the thread lock is loosened. The band fits snugly and fits just like the original. The replacement material is more flexible, but there are no early signs that it will not be as usable.
