We're always looking for ways to reduce the use of plastic in our home and finding a sponge alternative seems like a great complement to our natural cleaning products. Scrufah feels rough at first, but quickly and unexpectedly softens and expands when you get wet, providing gentle but effective exfoliation. It works well on cast iron and other surfaces in the kitchen. One thing that really bothers me about traditional sponges is how they absorb and retain odors and Scrufah is non-smelling (!) which is a huge plus for me. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to reduce their use of plastic and increase the amount of natural products in their home.
