Review on 📻 Tram 1411 Broadband Discone/Scanner Base Antenna by Bim Cook

The tram makes two U-turns. One has a whip and two longer radials and the other has no whip but all radials are the same size. what do you choose Judging by the photo I have both. The one with the whip is on one side of my house, on my HF vertical side, and is used for my 2m/440 HT and the one without the whip is on an offset mast under my 2m/440 whip and is Used for my scanner. Why are two of them on opposite sides of the house? This one with the stylus detuned my 2m antenna so I had to use the one without the stylus. There are times when I need to either use my walkie-talkies as a repeater or transmit on two nearby frequencies at the same time. A stylus on the disc gives a much better SWR than no stylus, so I use one with a stylus for transmission and one without a stylus for my scanner. So you got it. Two excellent antennas, each with its own purpose.
