Well I compared this to a TRAM 1410 antenna ($8 cheaper) and blindly decided to step up. The 1410 turned out to be exactly what I needed and the long spool loading top and matched radials were meant for CB transmission only. I received the box this afternoon and opened it quickly. All parts are correct and in good condition. Be careful not to throw away some of the hex nuts with the packaging. I bought this antenna after Christmas to install a scanner (Christmas present) in my Ham Shack. I also wanted to be able to use it with the old CB I had. not used for many years due to lack of antenna.
