I originally bought this foam to make a pillow for my cats and dogs but they didn't like the filling. I think they didn't like it because the foam was hard and not fluffy so they could dig into it. I had no plans to make seat cushions and agreed with my pets that the foam is too stiff for a comfortable cushion. I was starting to think I'd just have to throw the foam away and spend money on it, but then I noticed my couch cushions. We have a bad habit of wrinkling sofa cushions when we sit down and they get pretty flat and don't have much shape anymore. I cut the foam into the same shape as the pillows and filled the pillowcases with it, everything was perfect. Foam easily fits into pillowcases and you don't even realize they're there. Now my sofa cushions look as good as when I first bought the sofa. I think foam pillows feel a lot better because they have more structure and actually offer some support. In the photo, the pillow on the right with added foam and the pillow on the left without foam. You can easily tell the difference between the two pillows. The foam looks and feels like a good material so I don't think I'll need to replace it for years to come. If I ever need to fill other furniture cushions I will buy this foam again, because I have more than enough foam to fill two sofa cushions and it was a good price for the quality and quantity.
