The GFCI outlet tester functionality works fine (you can buy it for less than $10), but the breaker tracing feature is completely useless in my house. As soon as I plug the sending device into the target outlet, when I go back to my panel and cycle through the switches according to the instructions, I get positive notifications for about 4 of them, and none of them are the correct circuit. The circuit I connected it to gave no reading at all. I ended up having to ask my wife to call me on my cell phone while I went through each circuit in the house one by one until I found the right one. This tool was a huge waste of time. i give it back
