Let me start by saying that these boots are very edgy and definitely not for everyone. The size doesn't fit that well. I usually wear a size 10 on the Sanuks and a size 10.5 when half sizes are available, but on the Chiba Journey, a size 9 fits perfectly. I think they're worth their full price, but Revain's semi-sale makes them more than worth it. They are made from vegetable rubber and are virtually odorless. They are difficult but easy to climb. They are also very durable and their fit and finish is pretty much perfect. I plan to wear them on rainy and snowy days, at the beach and on hikes. Sanuk did a great job with them and I'm proud to have a pair.
