It was recommended to me by an avid whiskey drinker and I am very happy with it. The ground cools down quickly and stays cold for a long time. The stand is thick and of good quality. The shape of the glass really brings out the flavor of bourbon and allows you to really appreciate it. My friend uses it almost every day. I keep it when I want to appreciate something really good.
