Nicely made in my review

UPDATE 7-22-18: here are the rest of the pictures that I couldn't upload previously.Since I can only post one picture, I decided to post the inside. The outside and inside look exactly like the advertised pictures. This portfolio is 12 1/4 inches in height and a little less than 9 1/2 wide. I like the brass corners. They add style to the portfolio. I'll have to get used to only being able to use one note pad at a time, but that's ok. It's sturdy and stylish. The inside pockets are black…

Great Professional Portfolio

I got this portfolio for a recent job interview, and it worked really well.It is very professional looking, comes with a lot of paper, and has enough space to hold my resumes and business cards. There is also a loop for a pen.The pen loop is a little inconvenient, though, because unless you are using a very slim pen, it will line up with the pad of paper, making that side thicker than the other when it is closed. It's a minor downside but still worth mentioning. The only other possible downside

Used the same one for 25-years! Very well made!

Can't be happier with this well made portfolio. My in-laws gifted it to me when I started my construction business in 1995. I have used it everyday since and it held up very well. The exterior finally started to come apart this year so it was time for a replacement (AFTER 25-YEARS!). I haven't ever opened it up fully, obviously as there is no need to. The surface of it works great as a clip board for writing meeting notes on. So happy to find this company is still around making these. I just…

For the professional on a budget

I wanted something that looked professional that I could take to meetings - but wouldn't cost me a fortune. This is exactly what I was looking for.

  • Really nice. Awfully stiff, but that could be useful in different applications.

  • The writing pad is difficult to replace or refill with compatible paper

Cheap plastic stretches

The pockets for business cards don’t hold them in. Everything keeps falling out. The holder for the pen is on the outer edge so papers don’t stay in folder - causes a gap for them to fall out of

  • The padfolio is not comfortable to write on for extended periods of time

Lasted two months in my review

I liked the portfolio while it lasted. Which was less than two months, at which time the inside seam split. The cheap plastic didn't hold up to light normal use. Would not buy again. Look for a higher quality item than this one.Update: I bumped my rating up by one star because the manufacturer was very responsive to my complaint and immediately shipped me a replacement. If the new one lasts longer I’ll update again.

Not really a complaint but a whine

Only whine is the pen holder isn't in a great place making it awkward when closed with pen in it but there is really no great place for a pen in a thin portfolio so almost a non complaint

Exactly what I was looking for.

Although the material is plastic it resembles real leather. Good enough for a resume and business cards. I cannot accurately describe the products durability as I have not used it yet. I'm sure it will be great!

So I’m trying to figure out why people are Critiquing this as if it’s a $200 and genuine leather. It’s $14 what do you expect?But it does looks great and durable. It serves its purpose well! I recommend this product.

Scratched edges, but very sleek and modern.

This portfolio looks sleek and modern. I’m excited to use this for interviews to carry my resume and take notes. The gold edges were scratched but not bad enough to be seen from across a table.

Excellent For My Purposes

I needed this to carry 8.5 x 11 notes during public presentations. I needed something slim and light that was classy and understated in appearance. This item fit the bill perfectly for me. Many of the others I looked at on Ebay were too big or thick w/ padding. Very satisfied.

I love how simplistic the padfolio is; nevertheless, it still has a neat, clean, and beautiful cover and interior! The padfolio is as though it has not been touched.
