I live in an old house that has these locks on bedroom doors. Even if the old locks are decades old, these interchangeable locks fit very well. I had a strike alignment issue, but I think it's my door, not this product. I've been using it for about a year now and the latch has been constantly stuck in the case for months. The door won't stay closed until I lock it. This is normal for me as I always keep my door locked but I think it shows the quality of this set. But it's cheap and does what I wanted. He locks my door. If you are planning to buy multiple sets for different bedrooms, be aware that you may end up getting ones that use the same keys. Each is marked with a different H#, and it's impossible to tell which key you're getting until it's delivered.
