I bought 2 pairs of these (1 for a 5 year old girl, 1 for a 2 year old son). They loved them, but after just a few walks in them (we're in California so we don't get many opportunities to wear wellies), my daughter stopped wanting to wear them because "they have holes in them". She pointed to a large tear, about 2-3 inches long, in the rubber at the very top of the boot's shaft. Her boots had a few other small tears (1 inch or less) in other places. I thought maybe it was because she got a bad pair, but she pointed out that her brother's boots were also ripped. This is VERY disappointing as they have only survived a few rainy days in less than 2 months. Such a waste of money and the kids are sad too. =
