Review on ๐Ÿ”’ Enhance Interior Security with MiLocks TKK-02SN Digital Door Knob Lock โ€“ Satin Nickel Finish by Douglas Hall

Revainrating 2 out of 5

There is always a but.

TL:DR Don't worry - 2 defective - both returned - 3rd party charges 20% restocking fee - no customer service/tech support - cannot be serviced 2 of these ordered for use on interior bedroom doors. There are some very nice things about these locks - they are very easy to install with a screwdriver. Takes less than ten minutes, even for someone who has never changed a pen. The controls are amazing, very easy to program, easy to install battery, secure latch, comfortable feel when turning the handle. I liked it. About 2 weeks for the first. As long as it works. Started knocking and not unlocking. Thought it might be the batteries. batteries changed. No difference. I called tech support. No Answer. Called Amazon technical support. They could neither find a troubleshooting matrix nor contact technical support. isn't cool Now you have a locked door and it is absolutely impossible to open it. (In this case, my keys were 1) with my car keys and my car was at the dealership, 2) the other key was on my keychain in my room.) So until I could get my car, I couldn't open the door. I have issued a refund. Since I bought 2 of them, I chose the second one. Yes. it took less than 4 days. Did the same thing - started making knocking noises, not unlocked. Both were returned. Remember - the company will charge you a 20% commission for the "top up". That is really funny. Because I apologize to whoever gets the two I returned. I wrote "defective" on both boxes. So here's what. For the record, amazon.com credited my account with the "restocking fee" charged by the seller. THANK YOU AMAZONE! I don't know, maybe it's just a bad run as others have complained about similar issues. They liked it very much when they worked.
