Bought three. Two were returned due to very poor workmanship and materials. The tracks holding the two pieces together on either side of the door simply fell apart during installation, making it impossible to attach the lock to the door. I liked the style and the price, but if you can't securely install the lock on the door - what's the use?

I bought this product for the office, inside access. This product has failed several times, although the batteries have been replaced with new ones twice. Worked a couple of times after installing new batteries. The last straw was that we were locked in the office. Good thing I had a screwdriver to completely unscrew the doorknob. This is a security risk. Do not buy!

We finally installed it tonight and it worked. within 10 minutes. I have no idea what happened. At first it was good, then I asked the kids to try it and it beeped a few times and didn't work. We decided to take it apart again and found that the two center wires were somehow either broken or burned out or something. I'm not even sure. Now I have a useless keyboard. But the key works. And I just noticed that the return deadline was yesterday.

Bought and tried to install - only to break BOTH press fitted standoffs. Pure nonsense. I ended up having to disassemble the entire handle to use two bolts that go through. There is literally no excuse for that. a good hit will literally unsettle him. Because of the outer sheet metal, the cleats had to be welded at least with staple guns or, even better, pressed in. Mist engineering which I'm sure will spread to the rest of the product.

Installation was easy and once installed everything worked like clockwork. It came with a set of keys so I loved it straight away! Because I was wondering what would happen if the batteries died and the door stayed locked. Well the batteries died within a week and I only found out because one of my young kids who never learned the code just walked in and out through that door. This is the worst and most dangerous product I have ever ordered from Revain. Insert the batteries into the device according to the instructions in the letter. It worked, but I found the back gets hot. So I removed the battery cover and found the batteries had heated to a hundred and fifty degrees and their plastic labels had melted. I definitely should have read the latest reviews on this lock before buying it. It has a nice design and it would be great if only the locking mechanism worked properly. Unfortunately you program the lock, it works the first time, and then it never works again. We've had it for almost a year now. We have two and I'll probably get another one soon. They were very easy to install and worked great. Batteries last a long time and really depends on how often you use the lock/unlock mechanism instead of the key.
