Good product! on door handles

We've had it for almost a year now. We have two and I'll probably get another one soon. They were very easy to install and worked great. Batteries last a long time and really depends on how often you use the lock/unlock mechanism instead of the key. In the year we've had them, we've had to replace the batteries once with one that gets more use, but not another. The clicking noise I mentioned in several reviews could be caused by the door not fully opening/locking. When it's not fully locked/unlocked and the mechanism tries to unlock/lock it makes an awful click, crunch and won't unlock/lock. I've only had this issue twice (and both of those times were due to my 2 year old). The beep is fairly quiet, but the mechanism that opens (or automatically locks) the door is quite loud. You can disable or enable the auto lock feature based on your preference. It takes a few seconds for the door to close by itself. So if you're trying to be quiet, just lock them manually before the door closes by itself. The only problem, aside from the mechanism being quite noisy, is that the numbers sometimes register being pressed twice (or not at all) when you try to enter your code. So be careful when you enter your code and you've won. I have no problems. Oh, and don't use a six-digit code like I did in the first case. Stick to four digits and you'll be happier. :)
