Installation was easy and once installed everything worked like clockwork. It came with a set of keys so I loved it straight away! Because I was wondering what would happen if the batteries died and the door stayed locked. Well the batteries died within a week and I only found out because one of my young kids who never learned the code just walked in and out through that door. So when the batteries run out, the lock appears to switch to unlocking rather than auto-locking. So you must be very aware of this because an auto-lock that doesn't auto-lock defeats the purpose. Since then I've switched to rechargeable batteries and started changing batteries every three days. But that's only until I get a kit from another manufacturer.
