This is a great product to have in my grip kit. It's great for attaching small threaded LED lights to a c-post rod mount or light stand (e.g. with the new LED lighting making everything smaller (Lumicubes etc) these little guys are handy and good, to complete your production kit if you are in a pinch or the production needs a small compact led light I'm not sure how it will hold up when supported by a stronger light or a camera etc. It's always on Best to use a safety line on such mounts just in case!A simple device from Manfrotto.I highly recommend!
