I bought one of these for one of my cars. I work six days in a row and then rest for eight days. I drove this car very little at the time. I have a dash cam that runs all the time and I've heard a couple of times that the battery is a little low. I also use this car for camping and had issues with the battery from the dome light and dashcam. I dropped it in no time. I used a large zipper to secure it where I wanted it. Pull the cord through the grill for easy access. Connected a few times, so far so good. The car starts easier after a few days of standing. I have a "solar generator" that I use on camping trips but haven't tried yet. I bought a second one for my truck which has more space than my other car. It's getting cold and I want to keep the battery charged. The block is strong and feels solid. A fair amount of wire. I just zipped up the excess. One is installed on the Dodge Ram and the other on the RAV4. The wire fits both. I wish they came with a cover to protect the plugs when not in use.
