Review on 🌞 Neutrogena Oil-Free Sunscreen that's Sweatproof and Waterproof by Nancy Gracey

Running dermatologist loves it

I'm a dermatologist and I like running short distances as a sport. I have tried many sunscreens because many of them sting my eyes when running. My eyes forgive this sunscreen. In doing so, I noticed several other reviewers whose eyes were burning. In my opinion, they're probably just unlucky enough to be sensitive to this sunscreen. In short, some people's eyes light up and some don't. This applies to all sunscreens. You have to find one that you tolerate. The same applies to skin rashes or acne. I recommend different sunscreens for different purposes. This one is a bit heavy for everyday use, but during workouts it works just as well as anything I've tried. In case you're wondering, I apply it in a ridiculously thick layer about 45 minutes before going outside. I look like a freak in the house, but by the time I'm out the door it's all gone. I recommend repeating the process every two hours. For swimmers, reapply every 30 minutes if possible, as lab tests for "water resistance" are done in a bathtub. Things are different in a pool or in the sea. Technically, "helioplex" refers to photostabilization, which means it won't break down when exposed to sunlight. Yes, you read that right - many sunscreens break down in the sun! Another piece of advice unrelated to this sunscreen, so I feel like honoring Hippocrates and his oath: Even the best sunscreen isn't perfect at filtering or blocking UV rays. bright. So try to go out after 4pm in summer. Or, if you prefer, leave at 6am and be home by 9am. If you're a hiker, get a wide-brimmed hat from Sun Precautions or another company called Sunday Afternoons. They also sell shirts that block UV light and keep you cool. I would post their websites but Revain does not allow links to these reviews. After all, like all dermatologists, I get a bunch of sunscreen from the manufacturers for free. But I buy Neutrogena Sport Face with my own money for track training.
