Review on Dixie Heavy Duty 🍲 Paper Bowls, Pack of 35 by Joshua Douglas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very convenient, saves time washing dishes

These coated paper trays saved my life while recovering from a major surgery for a year. Standing long enough to wash even a few plates was excruciating for a month. It was a wonderful thing to microwave oatmeal, chili peppers, and other foods that stain dishes in these paper bowls and then toss them in the trash. For the elderly person who has food delivered or just wants to heat up a soup or even frozen veggies without messing up a few containers, these bowls are a real treat. They also take the worry out of broken shells, which can feel slippery. These paper bowls have a nice gripping edge that my normal plates don't have. Although they bend a little since they are paper I feel more confident holding these bowls. My elderly father was able to help me after the operation without having to tire himself out with a lot of washing up and without having to worry about slightly trembling hands when grasping slippery porcelain. With these bowls, he could easily prepare a single serving of cereal, frozen meatballs, soup, or frozen vegetables and place them directly on the serving tray without worrying about anything rolling off the paper plate and bending. When I got up and used a tray bar to get my food, these bowls worked better than paper plates because there was no way to move the food (especially hot foods) when I rolled the rollator.
