Most Windows 10 users expect Windows to just work. Yes, mostly, but not this one. It doesn't work without installing adapter drivers. Installing the adapter drivers (from REALTEK) is easy, but requires a reboot to work. But after installation everything works fine. I tested it with BT5.0 and BT4.0 and it fits both standards pretty well. However, I don't have anything older to test the 2.0 connection. For the price, it's good value, and it's not that difficult to set up if you can follow the simple instructions that come with the drivers. . But if you need downloads, you can find them on the EDUP website. The adapter I received was black, it was the BD-5319 model. This is a zipped file that expands to the same information found on the driver mini-disk provided. While it's not exactly plug-and-play, which deducted two stars for ease of installation, it could be a lot worse, and its performance is pretty good. I would recommend it to people who can follow directions. For grandma or grandpa, try to find something with more plug and play features or help them install it. For a device without plug and play, I also deducted a star in the general rating. Otherwise I would recommend it to almost anyone under 50 as they can install the drivers without any problems.
