I installed this tank for about 2 months as the original pressure could no longer hold. Replacing the RO132 water tank was easy, except for the valve port on the top of the tank. I have a GE GXRV10ABL01 reverse osmosis system. The 2.5 gallon tank it came with had a 1/4" MPT fitting connected to a plastic hose nut with an internal compression sleeve. For simplicity, I planned to use the same hose nut but with a compression sleeve was 3/8" and did not fit the new tank's MPT fitting. I ended up using the valve that came with the tank (which doesn't look anything like the one in the product photo), but it has a 1/4" inlet line, so. I had to use a separate 3/8" on 1 /4" adapter to get it working. Not a big deal, but the real problem was the T-valve kept leaking out of the tank fitting. I first wrapped the threads of the fitting in teflon tape several times before realizing that the fitting was not making contact with the inside of the valve My plan now was to install an o-ring I took the "#P9: 1.9mm width, 8.8mm ID" o-ring from my kit metric o-rings which I bought from Harbor Freight a while back and put in the valve. That helped, there's no more leakage after that. The tank has been running fine ever since. I'm not sure if the tank will last , but so far so good.
