I installed this tank for about 2 months as the original pressure could no longer hold. Replacing the RO132 water tank was easy, except for the valve port on the top of the tank. I have a GE GXRV10ABL01 reverse osmosis system. The 2.5 gallon tank it came with had a 1/4" MPT fitting connected to a plastic hose nut with an internal compression sleeve. I bought this to replace a 3 year old reversing tank that had lost pressure. I received it in less than a week, which was amazing for the time. The reason I gave 5 stars is the instructions that came with it. There is an extra step between attaching the valve and connecting to the filters. They force you to connect the valve directly to the cold water line of the pre-filter and fill for a minute and then flush. My guess is that it uses the full pressure of the water from the supply line to open
