Review on 🛢️ TankRo RO132 TNK Enhanced Filtration Expansion Capability by Don Pintac

I bought this to replace a 3 year old reversing tank that had lost pressure. I received it in less than a week, which was amazing for the time. The reason I gave 5 stars is the instructions that came with it. There is an extra step between attaching the valve and connecting to the filters. They force you to connect the valve directly to the cold water line of the pre-filter and fill for a minute and then flush. My guess is that it uses the full pressure of the water from the supply line to open the bladder for the first time. This appears to be an important step so that the bladder volume can be used when the supply pressure is below the diaphragm. I went back and looked at the instructions that came with my original reverse osmosis system and all that was mentioned about the tank was ensuring the correct air pressure (there are no suggestions on how to do this. I have a good one Found video on YouTube but Amazon is blocking link so see for yourself. Note (bike pump with pressure gauge). This probably explains why I have never been able to get more than a gallon at a time from an old tank for the last 3 years, even though my water pressure is quite high. This has recently dropped to about half a cup at a time. I have changed all the filters to no avail. That's when I realized that the tank was actually full. Doh! The only thing I was missing from this tank was a small roll of teflon tape that would be needed to attach the valve to the tank that could be turned on. Before you begin, make sure you have something on hand.
