As such, the Gigabyte G27QC is not a monitor I would recommend at this price point (+$280), whether for gaming or content creation. I've been setting up this monitor with dual screens for about a month and here's what I've found good and bad so far: Pros: - Good size and fairly slim design on the body - PPI keeps most images nice and sharp from a distance (about 100m). 22 inches) I'm away from my monitors. - Brightness is more than adequate for indoor use where sunlight is coming from behind the monitors and not directed at them - The 1500R curve is noticeable but fairly low for the size, so the transition from a flat panel is relatively painless - Height and tilt adjustment are nice features, and if you want more, it's VESA compliant if you want to use a third-party monitor stand. Because a VA panel is used, black looks better on this screen than on a regular IPS panel. Contains 1 HDMI cable and 1 DisplayPort cable, as well as 3 different power cables for different types of sockets. Cons: - Horrible ghosting occurred when using the HDMI port or the display at their respective maximum refresh rates: HDMI = 144Hz and DP = 165Hz - Due to the use of a VA panel, the viewing angles are pretty poor, especially bright colors at the top and down bottom. The sides aren't that terrible, but I wouldn't call it a good UI if you said show someone your screen from the side - blacks look gray because there's too much light in the room - speakers sound terrible, no bass and very hissing. First of all, most monitor speakers aren't that great. Verdict: While the G27QC isn't aggressive in any particular way (except maybe pixel response time), it simply doesn't offer any particular advantage over other monitors at this price point. points in each category. Dell, LG and Samsung will likely have much better color, albeit at this price point in 1080p rather than 1440p, but based on my experience I'd say it would be the best choice for a content creator on a budget. For gaming, Asus, LG and Samsung will have better panels that can actually run at their rated refresh rates, again with a compromise of 1080p rather than 1440p. Note. I'm running a Ryzen 5 3600X with an RTX 2060 so I believe it was an issue with my system for one of the cons.
