Review on Portable recorder ZOOM H1n black by Gagaan Pahal ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The item is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

I'm picky when it comes to voice recording, but I'm not a musician, so don't throw tomatoes at me. Power from the "little fingers" is an ambiguous decision: for someone this is a plus, because. you can change, but someone minus. Wind protection must be taken immediately MANDATORY, even if you are not going to take it out of the room. Turns on for about 4 seconds. If it is already enabled, then start recording immediately at the touch of a button. Accumulators (batteries) need to be changed quickly, otherwise the time will be reset. The main thing is the sound quality, and I am very pleased with it, although I agree that there are drawbacks, and the price is somewhat too high. I am not disappointed. The firmware is the latest (12022). I count the start time, starting from touching the power-on slider.

Pros
  • Compact and light for this level. Sensitive. The quality of the voice recording, kmk, will satisfy any non-professional or reporter. I can't speak for the musicians. Write to SD card so that you can insert the right amount of GB and replace if necessary. You can plug in an external microphone. And vice versa: you can use it as a microphone when connected via USB or Line out (or monitor via Line out). Can be powered by USB (not charging). So "in the fields" you can power from the powerbank. Writes WAV of the maximum required quality and MP3 with different compression ratios. There is a thread for a tripod and a place for attaching a loop so as not to drop it from your hand.
Cons
  • The microphone feels even a light touch of the body in ANY place, from which a specific rustling appears. Little finger NiMH batteries die very quickly. I think if you write all day, you have to carry 4 sets.
