It is NOT threaded. This is a smooth sleeve.

I didn't realize it didn't have threads for my 2" outlet hose. I had to glue 2" PVC hoses in so I could attach a 2" NPT-F thread to the male threads of my outlet hose. Seems to be a solid piece of plastic, let's see.

Pros

DETACHABLE - can be taken apart for cleaning.
