At the very end of April, I acquired this camera. With the whale version, the focal range is 18-55mm (3.5-5.6). Before that, we were using a Canon S5 IS as our primary camera. I can confirm this. In the beginning, the 60d produced photographs with a sharpness that was below that of the s5mu. At first, I thought the whale lens was such a piece of crap. But then I realized that this lens needs to be felt in order to get a feel for how the operating parameters work. Tests initially focused on locating diaphragms with the highest rate of success. The best picture that can be taken with an 18-55mm lens is a portrait with an aperture of 5.0 (however, I recommend that you take a portrait with an 18-35mm FR lens in order to achieve the highest level of sharpness). I shoot landscapes with apertures ranging from 7.1 to 13. At an ISO setting of 3200, the camera shocked me by having a pleasingly low level of noise; I had anticipated a great deal more noise. In spite of this, virtually everyone maintained that an excessive number of pixels had been crammed into its matrix. But as it turned out, that was just a ridiculous theory. In actual photography, an ISO of 3200 was found to be highly useful for producing high-quality reportage photographs. "Quality is not crucial; the main thing is to capture the essence of the frame" is ISO 6400-12800. Still, there is a lot less noise than I anticipated there would be. The amount of noise is comparable between S5 and ISO-200 when using an ISO setting of 3200. And whether it is done in a professional manner or not already depends on the proprietor. She acts in a businesslike manner! A matrix that has a very high resolution calls for the selection of the appropriate optics; for this matrix, I intend to use a 24-105mm and a 50mm lens. I believe I've had enough of this. And the whale should be replaced with 18-200mm. The following is a video review that I made on the day that I purchased this camera: You can watch this video at http://video.. RU/users/a-phaeton/view/22/.
