I carefully installed 1 mounting hook. Each screw is properly seated and well tightened. The second hook is not very good. 1 of the screws turned freely. I went to the third hook and couldn't get any of the screws. That's when I noticed that the threads were flattened. I started removing the other hooks when they were pulled out with enough force. Of the 8 screws for the 2 built-in hooks, 7 had flat threads. I put a 1/4-20 in one of the holes on the truck and it worked great, but now I have to buy a 1/4-20. Gear. I'm also disappointed that the locking mechanism is plastic and flexible. This connects the hook to the plate. Why not metal? I'll let you know how long they last.
