I had to replace some window candles that our pup chewed on last year. The originals I received from Ace Hardware a few years ago were no longer available. They came in volume and seemed like a good deal. A few problems. The main reason is that the candles don't sit all the way down. They don't screw in, snap into place, or fit snugly, so they wobble and tilt in different directions. Not a good view. Also, the flame doesn't look very good. Where the candle holders I've had had a nice flush top with a flame bulb set into it so that the flame starts in the middle of the top of the candle where the wick should be like a real flame, the flame bulbs of this candle cover and outshine the candle that looks sloppy and fake. Send back. Fortunately, Revain makes this task easy.
