Very good processor, albeit gluttonous. The 650W power supply is suitable for most systems.

Used in ASUS TUF Gaming Z590-Plus WiFi motherboard. To my surprise, it also came with the latest BIOS update, so there's no need to flash it just yet. It's an i5-4690k type. I'm just amazed. This thing is insanely fast compared to what I'm used to. I knew that it can also get very hot, so I decided to install water cooling (AIO Cooler) for the first time. I was able to fit the NZXT Kraken X53 into my Corsair Carbide 200R case. Mounted it directly over my low profile ram sticks, using screws in a hex grid with washers provided, and used velcro to stabilize the front area as there was no screw cover. I spent all day putting this together but oh my god it was worth it. Stable, fast and ultimately an absolute pleasure to play. I still use my EVGA GTX 1660 Ti XC Ultra with it as I don't have anything better. However, I am no longer a CPU bottleneck like I used to be. This is probably the 5-10% GPU bottleneck now. Nothing serious, the games work phenomenally. zero problems. With the cooler mentioned, the temperatures never rise above 65 degrees. (Which I highly recommend if you can afford it is around $140 including tax at the time of writing this review). The 16GB of low profile RAM is perfect for my build and it is 3200MHz type. It only achieves this via XMP in the bios, but that's by design, so be sure to use it if you have sticks like this. Works great with the processor. For the time being it fluctuates between 4.6 GHz and 4.9 GHz alone, and I'll leave it at that for now. Typically stays at 4.9 GHz during intense gaming. Temperatures are still good, below or around 60 degrees depending on the game. Just note that air cooling might not be that safe for this game, although I can't personally attest to that. I almost went with air cooling, but now that I've experienced liquid cooling I'm not sure I can go back to air. Ha ha. I highly recommend this processor and the cooler and motherboard I mentioned. Of course, RAM was the most popular version of the Corsair Vengeance. Couldn't be happier!
