I'm sure this plane will stand up to anything when played out of the water. But as a water toy, it has a design flaw. The front and rear ends of the pontoons have "vent holes" (as shown in the picture). Rear venting is inches from the water. The aircraft also has a heavy tail, which means water will inevitably enter the rear vent, filling the pontoon and causing the aircraft to roll and eventually sink. This upset my grandson so much that he stopped playing with it.
