I am so impressed with this micro SD adapter. Not only does it fit my Dell XPS15, 9560, but it's also very well made. It is much more expensive than other micro SD adapters. The card is slightly shorter (about 0.5mm) than the depth of the SD card slot (see attached photo) as it's not designed for the XPS15, 9560, but that's not a problem. No problem removing it from the laptop with a fingernail. The manufacturer has no plans to make a custom card adapter for the new Dell XPS15, 956-0, so you'll have to settle for this adapter if you're looking for a flush mount micro SD adapter. Please make sure you select the correct model (103A) when purchasing this adapter. Other BaseQi models are either too short, too long or not suitable at all. Before I bought it, I bought a very cheap plastic adapter that destroyed the internal contacts of the SD card slot the first time I used it. I had to replace my laptop motherboard to fix a damaged card slot. Yes, the card reader slot is built into the motherboard, so there was no other solution than replacing the entire motherboard. Yes, it was a $1,000+ error. You get what you pay for. I am very satisfied with this product.
