This little adapter works great with my new Surface Book. I easily upgraded my storage to 128GB. It protrudes only 2 mm from the side surface! the color of the exposed part is very similar to the magnesium surface. There's no way to trip it up. I used a USB drive for the Time Machine backup but didn't like that it was sticking out and taking up the USB port. I often take out a drive and forget to put it back in. I am so impressed with this micro SD adapter. Not only does it fit my Dell XPS15, 9560, but it's also very well made. It is much more expensive than other micro SD adapters.
