Review on 40-Pack Molex Pin Connectors 02 09 1104 by Joe Griggs

Bought to remake a Molex connector. I removed the old pins and took a string of new pins. I noticed these weird connections between the pins and just assumed they would break at the pin and I could insert the wire and crimp. No chance. The breaking point is between non-standard connections, and the main part (see photo) remains on the pin. I tried snapping off the wing (they don't fit the connector in this shape) by grabbing with pliers but they bent but didn't break. I took a few overlays and cut them off as close to the pin as possible, but they didn't fit the connector all the way. The only way to get them in properly is to take a pair of pliers, crimp the ends, check the fit, and then repeat this again until they're in properly. This product should be discarded directly from the production line. ABSOLUTELY TRASH!
