Device I am using: Acer Switch Alpha 12. (BRAND NEW) DEVICE IS DP ALT COMPATIBLE. I know this is necessary for the adapter to work. Whenever I plug it in, my second monitor goes off every 15-20 seconds. After 3-4 seconds of a black screen, the display returns to normal. Of course, this makes every job very difficult. Static noise appears on the screen about 1 time per minute. I know the issue is with the product and not something else because: - My new computer has great reviews and no customer reported display issues - My computer is DP ALT compatible. The same problem occurred on 2 different monitors I tested. Monitors have never shown display problems. The HDMI cable works fine when connected to a PC with an HDMI port. So the only variable left in the equation is this adapter. If the seller does not reply to me with a suggestion to fix the problem, I will return this product and will not recommend it to anyone. If they find an effective solution I will update my review.
