They are pretty good. Used them for a trip to Disneyland, no break in period. Walked and stood for 3 hours 12-14 hours a day. I can't say my legs didn't hurt, but I think they would hurt in any shoe. I wore a pair of thin, low-cut socks. Almost every shoe I buy is a size 8 and I bought this one in a size 8. Sometimes I buy wide shoes when they are available and I had to get these. The amount of arch support was ok, I wish there were more and they fit so snugly I couldn't fit my purchased arch support comfortably. It was very nice to have shoes without seams, but there was a small flaw. There was a dent on the right side of my left finger. I couldn't squeeze it out. Very annoying. 58 years old
