I didn’t glue it on Velcro, but simply put it in the right places so that the necessary sectors overlapped. When there are a lot of small items on a table or chest of drawers, the sensors are not conspicuous, this has its advantages. In general, I am satisfied with the sensors, they register me clearly - a notification immediately comes to the application. I hope that you will not have to check them "in action" for their intended purpose.
Pros
- Very compact and lightweight motion sensor. Neat appearance. The setup is elementary, it connects to the hub without using the application in a few seconds, you only need an unfolded paper clip. More than adequate price, if you take on promotions with discounts. Good sensitivity - catches any movement both near and far. It uses a fairly common and inexpensive CR2032 battery.
Cons
- Fastening only with Velcro from below, there is no thread so that you can fasten it to the bracket in the right place. Motion events are always sent, even when the room security mode is not enabled, that is, there is no feedback from the hub. Therefore, I think that the battery will drain much faster if you live in a room with these sensors all the time, and not arm them only for weekends or vacations. On the other hand, without fasteners, they are easy to assemble and put in a box where they will not give false positives until they are needed.
