This item would be a great gift for a younger child. The purse/bag is very soft, and comes with a strap to go around your shoulder (child size), and a small carry-handle as well. In addition to the top main zipper, there is a small flap on the front (the rainbow) that zips open to see the little unicorns inside and to be able to remove them one by one. The unicorns themselves are pretty small but seem to be good quality and the colors are very nice. There are five little unicorns in total: light pink, blue, white, purple, and bold pink. I would definitely recommend this as my daughter loves it.
