Review on 😌 Experience Cool Comfort with the Sleep Innovations Cooling Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper, 3 Inches, King Size by Nick Singh

High mileage 66 year old male with a lot of wear and tear from any type of accident including motorcycle rides, roof slides, various falls and other self-inflicted stupidity, my knees, shoulders, neck , back and other components have from time at time pain. For the last few years I have slept on a Sleep Number inflatable bed with an adjustable base. It's a pretty good bed and helped a lot when I first got it. Although lately even this bed can't cope. When I sleep on my side (which I almost always do), I wake up with quite severe pain in my shoulder, neck, and hips. Increasingly soft bed landings resulted in a lack of support and causing back pain. Needed more support in a softer bed. As an experiment, my wife suggested putting a large comforter, which we don't use very often, on top of the mattress to see if that would help. I took it a step further by folding it in half to double its effective thickness and tucking it under the mattress topper right on my side of the king-size double bed. This helped a lot for about two nights until it started shrinking in all areas of high pressure, but it really worked so the search for a long-term solution continued. I chose memory foam rather than a natural material to avoid the "press down" issue. . A split king made a pad impossible unless I bought two Twin XLs. They were hard to find and expensive so I settled on this 3 inch king size gel foam product. Revain dispatched it with usual efficiency and it arrived yesterday. Reviews for this product were generally positive, but some mentioned issues with odor, stains, and size. I must have gotten a throwing pick. This item was perfect. I took it out of the box, put it on the bed and after 2 hours it was fully unpacked. No plastic smell and almost exact size. I mean within 1/4 inch. He was actually a little over 3 inches thick, but not by much. I took a tape measure and ruler, drew a line straight down the middle and cut it in half with a very sharp 10 inch kitchen knife. Very easy. The photos speak for the rest. Gel foam on the mattress, mattress pad on top, sheets, duvets, etc. I had the best night's sleep I can remember in a long time. I set the air mattress pressure to 75 for good support and let the foam do its job. It also worked well with the adjustable foot. No slips, jams or other problems. No pressure points or pain. I am really happy. This is by far the best hundred dollars I've spent in a long time. Hopefully this thing will last a few years before I have to replace it. If it doesn't or I have other issues I'll edit this review, but this morning I'm a real fan.
