There can be user error

I like it a lot. The side with more bristles is very soft. I hardly use the other side because even though someone with sensitive can use it, you should still be careful with how much pressure you use. It can definitely hurt sensitive skin if you press too hard.

First off it’s much more bendy than I thought it would be so as your rub it on yourself wherever, it conforms to your shape a bit. Like wrapping around the curves of your leg & so forth. The bristles are super super soft & bendy so they glide on with soap very gently. I highly recommend this, it definitely gives that soothing extra step to your exfoliating.
