I have a pretty tricky setup to connect my Surface Pro to a 42" Philips TV: The Philips TV has an HDMIHDMI->mini-HDMI output (when I connect it to my desktop connect what a mini -HDMI for) Mini HDMI->HDMI Adapter HDMI->Mini DisplayPort Adapter And finally, Mini DisplayPort connects to my Surface Pro. After all that, I can easily connect my Surface Pro to my Philips TV! Unfortunately, my TV doesn't support 720p or 1080p, so I need to set the Surface Pro's resolution to 1024x768. It's not ideal for a dual screen, but it works if I want to save power by not using my desktop. All in all, this is a great little adapter! Inexpensive, delivered quickly and works!
