Review on Renewed Garmin Forerunner 230 - Black/White: Top-Notch Performance at an Unbeatable Price! by John Rivera

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great watch! I love Garmin GPS watches. No disappointments in the line of smartwatches!

I bought this watch after *a lot* of research that I wanted to upgrade to Garmin Forerunner. My friends had the 235 and 630. I was immediately obsessed with them but wanted to make a wise choice and not overpay for a watch with extra features that I didn't need or want to use. (I had a Garmin 410 and wanted the smartwatch to work with my Android.) Since I didn't need a touchscreen or wasn't that keen on a heart rate monitor, I went with the 230. I have previously purchased a refurbished Garmin watch and I have never had an issue so I was confident that I would purchase a refurbished watch again. There was a small scratch on the dial when they arrived, but a friend recommended getting a screen protector and that the "glue" from the protector would fill in the scratch - and it certainly did. Other than that it was amazing! I bought the purple and white strap because it was in stock and ordered an additional black strap because I didn't need the purple. Pros: The battery life is amazing! I charged it to 100% 4.5 days ago - ran it twice (30 minutes the first time, over an hour the second time) - and the battery life is 60%! I love the dial size! I was able to download Garmin IQ and liked the options available. The clock is easy to use - once you get the hang of it - very easy! I like the running screen - it's easy to use. It took me some time to learn how to personalize the screen and disable scrolling on secondary screens. Cons: I keep hitting the "run" button with the bone in my wrist. It's good that I can remove the "garbage" runs - ha ha! All in all an amazing watch. I love Garmin GPS watches! Great value in renovated.
