The soft inner surface holds the iPad Mini 6 perfectly. I have no problem with that. I am planning to get some sort of leather case for my iPad and I think there will still be room for a tablet. Plus a pen pocket. I will keep the red case as it provides extra padding and storage for my pen. The other 2, the smaller ones are perfect for a tablet but no drop protection or stylus storage - the larger one might be fine if you use a Spigen or other thicker case option and need a case for it. In the meantime, I'll wait until I can get a nice leather case clip similar to the Note 10 devices.
