Large scale - fulfills the basic functions of a kitchen scale (mainly for baking and cooking). It holds up to 22 pounds which is great for portability. Units of measurement are grams, milliliters, and pounds/ounce. The on/off switch is convenient even with one hand. This scale is easy to use and the readings are big and bright. It uses 2 AAA batteries. I measured a few things and they seem very accurate. You can put the bowl in there first and once it adjusts, the weight of the bowl will be subtracted to give you the exact weight of the food. I would buy this again.
