Review on EAMBRITE 12V DC Heavy Duty 4.5 Ton Hydraulic Floor Jack with LED Light: Power-packed and Illuminating! by Tony Cole

Give me a chance. (Abba)

First of all I get very nervous when I buy something from a foreign company whose presence is fully connected to the internet. No real website, no shop, no office. If I hadn't bought from Revain I would have given up. Embrite Jack arrived on time. Cardboard isn't the best packaging for a 26-pound piece of metal. It took a couple of pretty good hits crushing a corner of the packing box. The inside of the box was also damaged. The jack itself was packaged in form-fitting styrofoam, which was also broken. However, the packaging appears to have served its purpose as the jack itself was undamaged. It's built pretty well. I've seen reviews that suggest the cigarette lighter plug was loose and tended to pop out. This is a moot point as the manual says don't use a lighter as it will likely melt. The specs say 25 amps. It comes with a CG jack that converts the power cord into a battery with screw terminals. Gluing DCT around the CG connector solves the fit problem. I carry a small 12Ah Mighty Max battery in my truck to use as a 12V DC to 110V inverter for various small 110V devices that I use when camping. . Mighty Max handled the jack with no problem. It took about 45 seconds for the front wheel of my Ford Sport Track (Explorer body) to lift off the ground. (Front tire means you're lifting the motor.) It wasn't particularly loud, and the motor didn't change pitch when it started lifting weights (no signs of strain). I've lifted my truck twice and my Jayco Baha camper four times and there have been no surprises. When I finished, the battery was 90 percent charged. There are tiny wheels underneath that can work on tarmac, but if you're on gravel put a piece of cardboard under the jack to help it slide. 26 pounds isn't much when you just pick it up from a pickup truck. On the ground, under a truck, it's enough to be unwieldy. Before I first attempted to use it, I had a 3000 pound scissor jack that I figured would raise one side of my trailer. Reviews tend to be creative. The Eambrite box says it's 10 tons. The spec says 4.5 tons. He also warns against picking something up and then leaving it unattended. If you need to leave something in the air for a while, I highly recommend using a stand. For my use, however, this jack did everything I needed to do without a whimper.
